By purchasing tickets, merchandise, or other products or services through the Museum of Becoming website or at any Museum location, you agree to pay all applicable fees, charges, and taxes as disclosed at the time of purchase. Tickets and Event Admissions
By purchasing or using a ticket for any event, exhibit, or showing hosted by Museum of Becoming (“Event”), you agree to comply with these Terms of Use and any additional event-specific terms and conditions provided at the time of ticket purchase or prior to entry. For online purchases, you will be required to indicate your acceptance of these Terms by checking the box provided at checkout before your order can be submitted. If you do not accept these Terms, you may not complete your purchase.
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except as expressly stated in our posted refund and exchange policies. Museum of Becoming reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel Events and to establish or amend Event-specific rules, which may include, but are not limited to, age restrictions, health and safety protocols, prohibited items, and conduct requirements.
Your admission may be subject to additional terms, which will be communicated at the time of ticket purchase or prior to the Event. In the event of a conflict between these Terms of Use and specific Event terms, the Event-specific terms will govern for that Event only.
User-Generated Content & Comments
The Site or affiliated third-party platforms may allow you to submit comments, reviews, photographs, or other content related to Museum of Becoming and its exhibitions, programs, or experiences (“User Content”).
By submitting User Content, you grant Museum of Becoming a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense, to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and otherwise exploit such User Content in any form or medium, for any purpose, including promotional and marketing purposes.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any applicable laws. Museum of Becoming may, but is not obligated to, review, edit, or remove User Content. Representations, Warranties, and Indemnification

Museum of Becoming does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components, nor does it warrant that any defects will be corrected. Your use of the Site is at your sole risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Museum of Becoming and its affiliates, trustees, directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Force Majeure
Museum of Becoming shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms of Use where such failure or delay results from events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such events may include, without limitation, acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, governmental orders, public health emergencies, or failures of utilities or communications networks.
Performance of affected obligations shall be excused for the duration of the event giving rise to the delay.
Severance and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms of Use is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
No failure or delay by Museum of Becoming in exercising any right, power, or remedy under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right or remedy. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Museum of Becoming to be effective.
Venue and Choice of Law
These Terms of Use and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Chicago, Illinois, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Museum of Becoming with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, representations, or communications, whether written or oral.
Any amendment or modification of these Terms must be in writing and executed by an authorized representative of Museum of Becoming.
Miscellaneous
You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms of Use without the prior written consent of Museum of Becoming. Any attempted assignment in violation of this provision shall be null and void.
